Meet Cecilia Cortez — owner and head designer of Vivi's Flower Market. She's 100% self-taught, having learned floral design the modern way: YouTube videos, trial and error, and a whole lot of stubbornness to get it right. What started as something to fill her days turned into her passion, her purpose, and eventually her own business. Her motto says it all: flower everything up. Every arrangement, every ramo buchón, every last stem that leaves this shop carries that same DIY spirit, love, and determination she's had from day one.

Meet Vivi's Flower Market — a Latina-owned flower shop with El Salvadoran roots and a whole lot of heart. Our founder Cecilia started the shop back in 2022, and it all traces back to her daughter Viviana — the shop's namesake, and the first girl born into the family in generations, after two boys. Needless to say, she was a pretty big deal from day one. New motherhood gave Cecilia some downtime, and instead of scrolling through her phone all day, she picked up flowers and never looked back. We started small in Laurel, then planted real roots in Beltsville — now our OG location — and we're not stopping there. Our claim to fame is the ramo buchón: a big, bold, ridiculously full bouquet with roots in northern Mexican tradition, made for the moments that deserve to go all out.
